Christchurch kitchen.

About the project.

This stunning new build was designed for a retired couple seeking a stylish, modern home to enjoy the next chapter of their lives. They envisioned a sophisticated space that complemented their modern furniture line while offering comfort and functionality.

To achieve this, we embraced warm earth tones and textures, creating a luxurious dark and moody aesthetic with an inviting, cosy warmth.

Kitchen Design
The kitchen features a standout island crafted from 12mm-thin Xtone porcelain, enhanced with ambient lighting and paired with a matching splashback. Teak veneer cabinetry finished with matte lacquer and equipped with Blum Aventos Servo-Drive doors contributes to the cohesive, moody aesthetic. A veneered ceiling with recessed lighting mirrors the cabinetry lines, adding a touch of architectural elegance. A discreet scullery, tucked behind the kitchen, provides practical storage and a dedicated space for food preparation.

Integrated Features
Adjacent to the kitchen, a study nook continues the theme with teak veneer finishes, blending seamlessly with the overall design.

Master Suite
The master suite showcases a custom-designed wardrobe offering ample hanging and drawer storage. A clever feature hides the television within the wardrobe, maintaining a clean and minimalist look.

This home is the perfect retreat for enjoying retirement and hosting family, combining modern sophistication with thoughtful functionality.
