70s Kitchen Reimagined for Modern Entertaining.

The key challenge in this renovation was updating a 1970s timber-and-tile kitchen while retaining the original windows and doors. Our focus was on enhancing natural light and creating a clean, contemporary feel.

High-gloss white cabinetry paired with a sleek Staron benchtop in White helped brighten the space, while an illuminated lightbox beneath the island seating adds a subtle, modern glow. Elegant Tom Dixon pendant lights bring a refined touch, and bespoke wall units seamlessly link the kitchen with the adjoining lounge, improving both flow and visual cohesion.

The dated dark floor tiles were replaced with lighter tiling in the kitchen and warm parquet flooring in the living area, creating clear spatial definition and added warmth. To balance the depth of the original joinery, we painted the walls crisp white, while a deep grey cornice was used to frame the space, adding contrast and architectural interest.
