Orewa – Kitchen Renovation.
Originally, this kitchen had no access to the expansive deck – an ideal space for entertaining. To remedy this, we installed sliding doors, which not only created a seamless indoor-outdoor flow but also introduced an abundance of natural light into the interior.
The clients wanted a sleek, modern kitchen that could meet the demands of daily use while also catering to frequent entertaining. With this in mind, we designed a versatile, portable table with a durable Corian top – the same material used on the main island – allowing it to be easily moved outdoors when needed.
A standout feature is the striking 3D effect created by bevelled glass on the overhead cupboards and island front, backlit with LED lighting to create dramatic evening ambience. Soft grey cabinetry is complemented by subtle blue tones on the island front, splashback and overhead extraction unit, adding a sophisticated pop of colour and contrast to the space.
