About the project.

This large-scale renovation encompassed both the interior and exterior, transforming the home into a welcoming retreat for extended family and friends year-round. The design balanced a visually stunning, semi-industrial aesthetic with the warmth and comfort of a family home, while thoughtfully incorporating materials that reflected the surrounding environment.

To create a seamless flow, we opened up the layout by removing walls, connecting the kitchen, dining, and family spaces harmoniously. The kitchen features a refined blend of oak, grey, and white lacquer cabinetry, complemented by Caesarstone countertops. A versatile island includes seating options at both ends: an integrated dining extension to accommodate gatherings of over 10 people, and informal breakfast seating for four at the bench-height side.

In the dining area, we showcased the Mal Corboy LOZZA 10-seater table, paired beautifully with the elegant Vertigo Pendant by Petite Friture, designed by Constance Guisset. The pendant’s striking lines perfectly accentuate the dining setup. To tie the spaces together, smoked oak timber flooring was laid throughout.

The family area combines texture and colour with schist cladding around the fireplace, striking burnt umber chairs, and a bold industrial-style coffee table.

A standout feature of the stairwell is a 120-bottle wine display, which doubles as a captivating art installation.

In the bathrooms, we opted for textured grey Porcelanosa tiles, Buddy tapware, and luxurious finishes including a statement black bath, spacious showers, and granite countertops.

The bedrooms were designed as serene sanctuaries, featuring custom headboards and soft, calming palettes to evoke restful comfort.
