St Mary’s Bay.

About the project.

This grand villa in St Mary’s Bay has been thoughtfully transformed by its owners to highlight its full potential. Having already undertaken extensive renovations to the interior, exterior, and gardens, it was time to focus on the kitchen and wine cellar, creating spaces as striking as the rest of the home.

The centrepiece of the kitchen design is the breathtaking Belvedere Granite, a bold and captivating choice that immediately resonated with the clients. To complement its statement appeal, the design incorporated a harmonious colour palette and carefully selected materials. Modern recessed panel doors were paired with warm-stained oak, adding depth and sophistication.

To showcase the client’s collection of beautiful pieces, we opted for aluminium-framed glass doors for the overhead cupboards. Extending these units to the ceiling not only maximised storage but introduced a sense of lightness and elegance, balancing the robust presence of the granite. The kitchen now commands attention as a focal point within the family and dining areas, seamlessly blending contemporary functionality with the villa’s timeless character—a striking upgrade from the previous kitchen, which felt out of sync with the home’s era and style.

In the wine cellar, walnut veneer cabinetry with brass detailing creates a refined yet inviting atmosphere. One wall is accented with opulent Mark Alexander wallpaper, chosen for its rich texture, completing the design with a sense of luxury. The result is a sumptuous, bespoke space that perfectly reflects the grandeur of the home.
