About the project.
We were commissioned to design the interiors for a spacious homestead, with a client who embraced the timeless elegance of a monochrome black-and-white palette. Our challenge was to capture this aesthetic in a way that felt both warm and inviting, creating a stylish yet cozy atmosphere for family living.
In the kitchen, we laid a foundation of white cabinetry with a soft grey island as the focal point. Above the island, sleek Tom Dixon pendant lights add a modern touch, while large black-and-white Flos pendants make a statement over the dual dining tables. A custom monochrome runner with a bold, eye-catching pattern completes the look, tying the entire space together.
The master suite wardrobe follows the monochrome theme with classic white finishes, leading seamlessly into an ensuite bathroom. Here, we introduced a luxurious touch with stat veined marble tiles on the walls and floors, complemented by double showerheads and elegant pendant lighting.
In the family bathroom, we maintained the monochromatic theme with striking black-and-white tiled floors, white subway tiles on the walls, and contrasting black-painted walls. White cabinetry and a spacious glass shower complete the sophisticated look.
